音乐轻轻的开始，没有一丝的激情，也没有一丝的拖泥带水，却是异常的柔情，慢慢的我就融进去了。“今夜请不要哭泣，不要哭泣”令我的心碎了，也许情人早已泪眼朦胧，但还是不断的安慰着“不要哭泣，永远不要，今夜请不要哭泣”，“请记住我永远不会撒谎”这句是否是对纯真的爱情需要永远的坦诚呢？我也不知道，但是至少那是对爱情的一种真诚。
“仍在想念你，怀念我们过去共同拥有的时光”，尽管是那么的无奈，但还是坚持着他们的爱恋。“宝贝，请理解现在我内心是多么慌凉”，也许再也无法回头，但还是想着对方是否会悲伤，是否会痛哭。
到了后半段旋律又突然高亢激昂，虽然是那么的失意，但还是充满着对未来的期待。“不要哭泣，永远不要，今夜请不要哭泣，亲爱的，也许有一天你将不再哭泣，永远”带着错综复杂的思绪结束了悲伤的痛诉。
这首歌虽然很早了，但听了这么久我仍然都不感觉厌烦，也许之所以被称为经典的东西都会给这种感觉。
